CUSTOM

When deciding to undertake the renovation of a boat, many owners choose to proceed with upgrading both from an aesthetic and technological/functional point of view. Combining these two requests, Sanguineti produces almost exclusively handcrafted equipment that gives each refit a special ‘allure’ in line with the style of the boat and at the same time modern and in step with the times. Thanks to the use of the latest generation technologies Sanguineti is on board numerous refits of ‘historic’ boats such as: Istranka, Delphine, Schooner and Invader. But also of yachts with a more modern style that wanted to follow the new trends while maintaining their identity.

WIDER 165 – M/Y CECILIA

Since its foundation, Wider Shipyard has focused on visionary ideas and projects aimed at spreading the frontiers of the nautical industry. Sanguineti Chiavari’s technical department likes challenges, presenting itself as the perfect collaborator when it is required the study of a product that requires a total customization and at same time meets specifications of a high-quality standard and performance. A new product with dual usability, used both as a gangway and ladder, has been designed to create a perfect solution for yachts with limited space on board to store the gangway, when it is extended, the ladder will become an integral part of it. Indeed, from this important project was born a new gangway model named ‘MULTI’, it will be used both as a ladder to access the stern platform and as a gangway to access the dock. It can be made in one, two or three elements with a light alloy or mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel structure. Different solutions are also available for the stanchions, both in terms of shape and handling (automatic or manual). The peculiarity of this new product line is that it can be realized according to the space and finish requirements, thus satisfying both the aesthetic and design sides. CRN 137 – M/Y VOICE

Voice is the latest fully custom steel and aluminum work of art from the CRN shipyard. The external lines evoke a strong identity and determination that will make the yacht distinctive and iconic over time.
For this new project, our technical department exploited all possible movements, dealing with the main challenge of creating a folding gangway of significant length that could fit into a short box.
Every new project starts with a discovery phase, we work with a strong collaboration with our customers to understand their goals and aesthetic taste for the brand. Then, we study a dedicated technical project that focuses on the design and technical capabilities of the product.
As a result of this successful collaboration, we took the chance to design and realize a product with a customized movement for an almost 9-metre long, tilting SIRIUS model gangway.
Our aim was to create a unique aesthetic that was worthy of the iconic yacht on which it was to be installed and make the boarding of their guests unique. (Courtesy of CRN Yachts photo archive)

MANGUSTA GS 33 - M/Y SAMO

“Our long-standing customer Mangusta yachts, which is adept at pushing itself to explore its capacity to imagine and think towards new limits, defines itself as a Dream Shaper.
It is always extremely important for us to provide the best in terms of design and innovation, to offer this shipyard bespoke proposals. One of the most significant projects is undoubtedly the study, design and realization of the stern platform that houses the swim ladder for the complete series of Grans Sport 33. The idea of extending the beach area was conceived with the valuable cooperation of the shipyard. The aim of this new project was to exploit the beach area for an easier access to the sea. With this prototype it was possible to design a product to almost double the space available on the beach, even managing to insert a swim ladder inside the platform, not visible when not in use, with automatic stanchions. Our intrinsic value is to create a reliable product with unique aesthetics and highly sophisticated engineering that can be adapted to the different styles and values a yacht can embrace. The main mission is to provide the end user with value-added solutions, with a complete management of the product in Italy, from the availability of the raw material to the design, from the completely internal production up to the customer delivery.
